Latham & Watkins Represents Omnicom in Acquisition of Digital Commerce Business Flywheel

Omnicom (NYSE: OMC), a leading global marketing and corporate communications company, has announced it has agreed to acquire Flywheel Digital, the digital commerce business of Ascential (LSE: ASCL.L), for a net cash purchase price of approximately US$835 million. Flywheel’s services enable top brands to sell more goods more efficiently across hundreds of digital marketplaces, such as Amazon, Walmart, and Alibaba.

Latham & Watkins LLP represents Omnicom Group in the transaction with a corporate deal team led by Chicago partners Bradley Faris and Jason Morelli, with associates Alice Bradshaw and Grace Kim.
