
Wafra Inc., a New York-based alternative investment firm, and Liberty Development Partners have announced that funds advised by Wafra have invested in both Liberty Development Partners, a rail-served infrastructure operator and developer, and its principal assets, Gulf Inland Logistics Park and CMC Railroad.
Latham & Watkins LLP represents Wafra in the transaction with a corporate team led by Houston partners James Garrett and Ashley Nguyen and Houston associate Rebekah Bingham, with associate Harrison Little and assistance from Roy Ji and Cameron Day. Advice was also provided on ECEB matters by Los Angeles partner Julie Crisp, with associates Megan Ampe and Erica Shin; on finance matters by Houston counsel Natalie McFarland, with associate Julia Harriman; on labor matters by Chicago counsel Laura Waller; and on tax matters by Los Angeles partner Pardis Zomorodi.
