Sixth Street has acquired the Pier House Resort & Spa, a 142-room, luxury oceanfront resort, for US$190 million. Sixth Street completed the transaction in partnership with Riller Capital.
Latham & Watkins LLP represented Sixth Street in the transaction with a corporate team led by partner Gary Axelrod, and counsel Dustin Paige, with associates Dominique Gonzales, Lura Bonney, and Shane Goodhue. Advice was also provided on tax matters by partner Ana O’Brien, with associate Arash Lotfi.
