
Positron AI, the AI inference hardware company built to make serving AI models dramatically cheaper and more energy efficient, announced a US$875 million Series C financing at a US$5 billion post-money valuation. The round was co-led by NEA, Atreides Management, Valor Equity Partners, Andra Capital, Dylan Patel’s SemiAnalysis Capital, and Jim Clark, the founder of Silicon Graphics and Netscape.
Latham & Watkins LLP represented Positron AI in the funding round with an Emerging Companies & Growth team led by Bay Area partner Alex Kassai, with associates Chris Pham, Saem Kim, Diego Guimaraes-Blandon, and Kaesha Freyaldenhoven.
