Latham & Watkins Advises on Launch of B5 Studios and Its Financing From RedBird Capital

Sean Bailey, longtime head of global film production for Disney, has launched B5 Studios, an innovative studio designed to empower world-class creatives with cutting-edge technology to create premium content across film, television, and emerging formats. B5 is backed by RedBird Capital Partners and bolstered by an Advisory Board featuring distinguished industry leaders and academics spanning entertainment and technology. The studio launches with a broad array of relationships, including several R&D projects with Meta, along with numerous active content projects with top creatives.

Latham & Watkins LLP represented B5 Studios in the transaction with a corporate team led by New York partner Eli Curi, with associates Kojo Hayward and Joy Chen.
