AssetMark Financial Holdings, Inc., a leading wealth management technology platform for financial advisors, has announced the closing of its acquisition by GTCR, a leading private equity firm with substantial investment expertise in financial technology, wealth, and asset management.
Latham & Watkins LLP represented the lenders in a financing to support the acquisition with a team led by banking partners Jesse Sheff, Michele Penzer, and Brianna Oller, with associates Eric Dang and Eric Raff. Advice was also provided on tax matters by partner Bora Bozkurt; and on uniform commercial code matters by partner Brian Rock.
