
LuxWall, a leader in glass-based transparent insulation solutions aimed at reducing energy consumption and carbon emissions from buildings, has closed a US$51 million Series B funding round. The round was led by Climate Investment and Barclays Sustainable Impact Capital, with participation from new investors Carbon Equity and The Nature Conservancy, alongside existing investors Breakthrough Energy Ventures, Prelude Ventures, 2150, Khosla Ventures, and Baruch Future Ventures.
Latham & Watkins LLP represents LuxWall in the transaction with a corporate deal team led by Bay Area partner Jim Morrone, with associates Omar Ammash and Kayleigh Kuyon. Advice was also provided on data privacy/intellectual property matters by Houston/Austin counsel Robert Brown and Bay Area partner Anthony Klein; and on CFIUS matters by Washington, D.C. partner Jim Barker.
