Latham & Watkins has advised Geely Group (Geely), a leading automobile manufacturer in China, on its joint venture with Renault Group, under which Geely has acquired a 26.4% stake in Renault do Brasil. The joint venture will expand the companies’ production of zero and low-emission vehicles in Brazil, a key market in Latin America.
The Latham team was led by Hong Kong partner Frank Sun and Washington, D.C. partner Carlos Ardila, with Hong Kong partner Daying Zhang, Hong Kong associate Rita Hong and London associate Catalina Ucros Tellez.
