Latham & Watkins Advises Celestial AI in US$100 Million Series B Funding

Celestial AI, an optical interconnect technology platform for memory and compute, has announced it has raised US$100 million in Series B funding led by IAG Capital Partners, Koch Disruptive Technologies, and Temasek’s Xora Innovation fund. Other major investors in the round include Samsung Catalyst, Smart Global Holdings, Porsche Automobil Holding SE, The Engine Fund, imec.xpand, M Ventures, and Tyche Partners.

Latham & Watkins LLP represents Celestial AI in the financing with a corporate team led by Bay Area partner Jim Morrone, with associates Omar Ammash, Erica Kucharski, and Emma Ingebritsen. Advice was also provided on data and tech transaction matters by Bay Area partner Tony Klein, with associate Fiona Gillian; on CFIUS matters by Washington, D.C. partner James Barker, with associate Asia Cadet.
