
Breakwall Capital LP, an independent asset management firm specializing in the energy industry, announced the initial close of its flagship fund, Breakwall Energy Credit Partners Fund, L.P. (BEC I), at US$125 million. BEC I is a private credit fund focused on senior secured first lien direct lending investments within the energy infrastructure, infrastructure services, and energy transition subsectors.
Latham & Watkins LLP represented Breakwall Capital LP in the fund formation with an Investment Funds team led by New York partner Mark Proctor, with associates Ali Beidoun, Bhavin Shah, and Chandler Johnson. New York partner Michael Milazzo, with associate Nicholas Sun, advised on tax matters, and Washington, D.C. partner Aaron Gilbride, with associate Mike Hart-Slattery, advised on fund regulatory matters.
