Latham & Watkins Advises AMD in US$4.75 Billion Senior Notes Offering

AMD (Nasdaq: AMD) has announced that it has priced an underwritten public offering of US$4.75 billion aggregate principal amount of senior notes, consisting of US$1.25 billion aggregate principal amount of its 4.600% senior notes due 2029, US$1.5 billion aggregate principal amount of its 5.000% senior notes due 2031, US$1 billion aggregate principal amount of its 5.250% senior notes due 2033, and US$1 billion aggregate principal amount of its 5.500% senior notes due 2036.

Latham & Watkins LLP represented AMD in the transaction with a corporate deal team led by Bay Area partners Tad Freese and Richard Kim, with associates Julian Brody, Edwin Gonzalez, and Brock Meyer. Advice was also provided on debt matters by New York partner Senet Bischoff, with associate Robyn Sablove; and on tax matters by Bay Area partner Grace Lee, with associate Derek Gumm.
