Yield Engineering Systems (YES), a leading provider of semiconductor process equipment and material solutions technology, has announced a US$55 million IP-backed financing from a fund managed by Aon Advantage Funds LLC, with support from services provided by Aon’s IP Solutions.
Latham & Watkins LLP advised YES in the transaction with a deal team led by partners Haim Zaltzman, Ben Potter and Dan Van Fleet, with associates Tony Noh, Hyunji Lee, Tulin Gurer, and Tyler Davis. Advice was also provided on insurance matters by partners Gary Boss and Analisa Dillingham, and counsel Benjamin Lee; on intellectual property matters by partners Aaron Gardner and Ghaith Mahmood, and counsel Arielle Singh; on securitization matters by partner Matt Hays and counsel Andrew Taggart; on tax matters by partner Katharine Moir, with associate Alex Farris; on securities regulatory matters by counsel Joel Cavanaugh, with associate Brian Thompson; and on security matters by counsel Emily Leong Yu.
