
Latham & Watkins has advised United Ventures on its participation in the US$6 million seed funding round of Volume Payments Limited (Volume), the payments fintech startup transforming online payments with account-to-account (A2A) technology.
The funds will be used by Volume to scale its operations across the UK and Europe, continuing its mission to eliminate payment fees for businesses and consumers.
United Ventures led the round, with participation from Fabrick — the open finance platform under the Sella Group — and existing investors Firstminute Capital, SeedX, and Haatch.
The Latham team was led by London corporate partner Mike Turner, with associate Cyrus Fung.
