Talos Energy Inc. (Talos) recently announced that it had successfully completed a sale of US gulf shelf assets to a confidential buyer. The transaction eliminated significant asset retirement obligations and decommissioning liabilities for Talos. Latham & Watkins advised Talos on the transaction with an M&A deal team led by Justin T. Stolte, Chris Heasley, and James Robertson.
