Latham & Watkins has advised Plum Fintech Limited (Plum), an innovative money-saving mobile app and money management platform, on its strategic partnership with Eurobank S.A., a leading Greek financial institution. The partnership will help Plum to expand its operations, and accelerate its development and the roll-out of Plum’s mobile app and money management platform, in Greece and surrounding markets.
As part of the partnership, Eurobank has agreed to provide at least €10 million in minority equity investments to Plum, with the first tranche of €5 million invested in November 2023.
The Latham team was led by London partners Shing Lo and Christian McDermott, with associates Aaron Bassett and Martha Crnkovic.
