
Phillips Edison & Company, Inc. (Nasdaq: PECO) announced an amended and restated joint venture partnership with Northwestern Mutual that extends the term of Grocery Retail Partners I LLC by 10 years to 2036. The expanded joint venture will acquire 13 grocery-anchored shopping centers across eight states with a portfolio value of approximately US$377.5 million.
Latham & Watkins LLP represents Phillips Edison in the transaction with a Real Estate team led by partners Gary Axelrod and Sam Steinman, with associate Megan Higgins. Advice was also provided on tax matters by partner Eric Cho.
