
Latham & Watkins has advised investment firm Pacific Universal Investments Pte. Ltd. (PUI) on its debut offering of US$325 million 7.45% senior secured notes due 2031. PUI owns a 51% interest in MAPI, the largest lifestyle retailer in Indonesia, with over 3,700 retail stores across 88 cities, covering sports, fashion, beauty, technology products, kids, department stores, and F&B.
The Latham team was led by Singapore partners Timothy Hia and Rajiv Gupta, with counsel Jeremy Wang, associate Rami Marginean, with assistance from Foreign Legal Consultant Jeffrey Zheng.
