
Latham & Watkins has advised Huatai International, Citi, and Orient Securities as sponsors on RoboTechnik Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd’s (RoboTechnik) HK$5.18 billion (approximately US$660 million) initial public offering on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong (HKEX). The global offering consists of 11,876,000 H shares (subject to the over-allotment option) at an offer price of HK$436.00 per H share. RoboTechnik is a global provider of manufacturing equipment and systems for photovoltaic industry and silicon photonics industry.
RoboTechnik’s A shares currently trade on Shenzhen’s ChiNext market, making the HKEX listing another significant cross-border A and H shares transaction advised by Latham.
