Latham Advises on Republic of Kazakhstan’s US$1.5 Billion Bond Offering

Latham & Watkins has advised on the Republic of Kazakhstan’s (represented by its Ministry of Finance) issuance of US$1.5 billion 4.412% Notes due 2030. The Notes have been issued pursuant to Regulation S and Rule 144A of the US Securities Act and listed on the LSE, AIX, and KASE. Citigroup, J.P. Morgan, and Standard Chartered Bank acted as joint lead managers and Halyk Finance and Teniz Capital acted as local managers.

The Latham team was led by London partners Mikhail Turetsky and Manoj Tulsiani, with London associate Alexander Kartyshev and Tokyo associate Edward Lee.
