Latham Advises on Private Credit Financing for GTCR’s Acquisition of Tactacam

Tactacam, a market leader in cellular-connected cameras for the outdoor and security markets, has announced the closing of its sale to GTCR, a leading private equity firm, from Bertram Capital and the company’s founders.

Latham & Watkins LLP represented the private credit financing sources supporting the acquisition with a team led by partners Stelios Saffos, Global Chair of Latham’s Capital Markets and Hybrid Capital practices, Ryan LaFevers, Jesse Sheff, Clever Gallegos, Michèle Penzer, Zak Judd, and Jonathan Sarna, and counsel Joseph Sung and Katherine Page, with associates William Council, Michael Hiestand, Ce’Ondra Ellison and assistance from Casey Pepa. Advice was also provided on Uniform Commercial Code matters by counsel Linda Chang Kim, with associate Carlos Ibarguengoitia; on tax matters by partner Bora Bozkurt and counsel Kathryn Harrington; and on executive compensation, employment, and benefits matters by partner Ben Rosemergy, with associate Tayler Evan Daniels.
