
Latham & Watkins has advised Kleiner Perkins and NEA on the US$450 million Series B funding round of CuspAI, the frontier AI company on a mission to solve the breakthrough materials needed to power human progress. The round values the company at US$2.6 billion.
The round was led by Kleiner Perkins and NEA, with participation from new investors Bezos Expeditions, Glade Brook Capital Partners, Lux Capital, AMD Ventures, Tru Arrow Partners, StepStone, Britain’s Sovereign AI Venture Fund, and the Netherlands’ Invest-NL; and existing investors Temasek, Basis Set Ventures, Giant Ventures, Touring Capital, Prosus, Phoenix Court, and Northzone.
Latham previously advised on CuspAI’s US$100 million Series A funding round.
The Latham team was led by London corporate partner Shing Lo, with associate Vladislav Vasiliev.
