Latham & Watkins has advised Jersey Telecom, a government-owned telecommunications provider headquartered in Jersey, Channel Islands, in its acquisition of Manx Telecom, the Isle of Man’s leading communications and digital infrastructure provider. The transaction is supported by CVC DIF, the infrastructure strategy of global private markets manager CVC, and is subject to customary regulatory approvals.
This strategic acquisition brings together two trusted operators with strong local foundations and expanding international reach. The combined group will serve customers in Jersey, Guernsey, the Isle of Man, and across the globe.
The Latham team was led by London partners Mike Turner and Jon Fox. Advice was also provided on finance matters by London partner Ross Pooley, with associate James Szauer; and on data and technology matters by London partner Christian McDermott, with counsel Alain Traill.
