Latham & Watkins has advised European private equity firm EMZ Partners (EMZ) and its portfolio company H&Z Unternehmensberatung (H&Z), a leading European consulting firm, on the acquisition of Haselhorst Associates. The acquisition of the specialist in crisis management and restructuring marks a new milestone in H&Z’s journey to become a leading European consulting firm.
Latham & Watkins regularly advises EMZ and its portfolio companies on transactions, including the investment in H&Z and the most recent add-on transaction of Transform8.
The Latham team was led by Munich corporate partner Stephan Hufnagel, with associates Corinna Freudenmacher, Philipp Gärtner, and Julian Glaub. Advice was also provided on tax matters by Hamburg partner Verena Seevers; and on employment matters by Munich associate Martina Hölzer.
