
Latham & Watkins has advised Elwood Technologies (Elwood), a leading provider of digital asset execution and portfolio management software, on the sale of its digital asset OTC trading business to Zodia Markets, a UK-headquartered digital asset trading business backed by Standard Chartered.
The transaction involved the sale of Elwood’s subsidiary, Elwood Capital Management Limited (ECML), which is based in Jersey and regulated by the Jersey Financial Services Commission.
The sale represents Elwood’s ongoing commitment to focus on and enhance its institutional-grade SaaS products and services. Following completion of the transaction, ECML will be known as Zodia Markets Jersey Ltd.
