Latham Advises EIG Partners on €255 Million Investment in Prosolia Energy

Latham & Watkins has advised EIG Partners, an institutional investor specializing in energy and infrastructure, on a €255 million investment agreement with Prosolia Energy, a leading vertically integrated power producer for the solar photovoltaic sector.

The transformative transaction will support Prosolia Energy’s efforts to reach an operating capacity of 2 GW by 2026 and to become a leading IPP in the European renewable energy market.

The Latham team was led by London finance partner Conrad Andersen with associate Amanda Fortuna and Madrid associates Ori Assa and Carmen Alonso. Advice on tax matters was provided by Madrid partner Jordi Domínguez and London partner Karl Mah, with Madrid associate Juan Rodríguez and London associate Aoife McCabe; on corporate matters by London partner Simon Tysoe with London associate Saavan Shah and Madrid associate Alejandro Albiñana; on additional finance matters by London associates Laura Elliott and Helen Gu; and on litigation and regulatory matters by London partner Oliver Browne with Madrid associates Leticia Sitges and Roberto Muñoz.
