Latham Advises Conifer Infrastructure Partners on Closing of US$900 Million Oversubscribed Inaugural Fund

Conifer Infrastructure Partners (Conifer), a private equity firm focused on building and operating high‑growth, durable infrastructure platforms in the energy and critical materials sectors, announced the closing of Conifer Infrastructure Partners I, LP (together with its related vehicles, the Fund) at its hard cap of US$900 million. The Fund was oversubscribed, exceeding its US$500 million target and holding a single institutional closing process less than five months from launch.

Latham & Watkins LLP advised Conifer on the transaction with a corporate deal team led by New York partners Mark Proctor and Erin Bergey, with associates Joseph Riposta, Edward Wang, and Marc Lim. Advice was also provided on tax matters by New York partner Michael Milazzo, with associate Roxanna Abdoli; on regulatory matters by Washington, D.C. partner Aaron Gilbride, with associate Katherine Ryan; and on ERISA matters by Washington, D.C. partner Adam Kestenbaum.
