Latham & Watkins has advised a consortium of banks on a syndicated loan of €6 billion for Volkswagen Financial Services. Volkswagen Financial Services are a business division of the Volkswagen AG group of companies and comprise Volkswagen Financial Services AG and its associated companies. The key business fields handle dealer and customer financing, leasing, bank and insurance activities, fleet management, and mobility services.
The Latham team was led by Frankfurt partner Sibylle Münch, with associates Martina Eisgruber and Kate Zhu. Advice was also provided on tax matters by Munich partner Ulf Kieker, with Hamburg associate Julia Wenzel.
