Latham & Watkins has advised Advent, a leading global private equity investor, on Firehawk’s Series D funding round, giving Firehawk a valuation of more than US$1.4 billion. Firehawk is helping strengthen the US defense supply chain by expanding capacity for critical propulsion systems. Its patented technology enables faster, more flexible manufacturing for artillery and solid rocket motors.
The round was led by Advent and Rochefort Asset Management.
The Latham team was led by London partners Ross Allardice and Jon Fox, with associate Ben Caldera. Advice was also provided on US regulatory matters by Washington, D.C. partner Jonathan Su, and Chicago partner Ed Siskel, with counsel Keith Feigenbaum; and on IP and data matters by associate Liz Longster.
