Kirkland & Ellis advised Kinderhook Industries, LLC (Kinderhook) and its portfolio company Circon Holdings, Inc. (Circon) on a definitive stock purchase agreement for the sale of Circon to Covanta Holding Corporation, which is subject to customary regulatory approvals. Circon is a full-service provider of sustainable environmental services with a customer base across more than 20 waste facilities in the Midwest, Southeast and Gulf Coast. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The Kirkland team was led by corporate partners Shawn OHargan and Thomas Marbury and associate Patrick O’Connor, with environmental transactions partner Jonathan Kidwell.
