Kirkland Counsels Maverick Natural Resources on Closure of $640 Million Asset-backed Securitization

Kirkland & Ellis advised Maverick Natural Resources on the issuance of $640 million of notes in an asset-backed securitization formation secured by Maverick’s Western Anadarko Basin producing wells. The notes were issued in three tranches, as part of a master trust, in a private offering to accredited investors under Section 4(a)(2) of the Securities Act of 1933.
