Kirkland & Ellis advised Unity Partners, a principles-based middle-market private equity firm, on the formation and closing of a private equity fund focused on partnering with U.S. companies in fragmented markets where Unity can employ its buy and build strategy. The fund exceeded its target and was significantly oversubscribed. The fund’s diverse investor base includes institutional investors, family offices and others.
