Kirkland & Ellis advised Transition Equity Partners, LLC, a private equity firm investing in companies that are facilitating the multi-decade process of transitioning to cleaner, more efficient, reliable and sustainable energy infrastructure, on its equity investment in Trinity Gas Storage, LLC. The equity consortium includes Pan Capital Management, Abrdn, SailingStone Capital Partners LLC and Rice Investment Group. This funding marks a crucial milestone in the development of Trinity’s natural gas storage facility in Texas, which will offer approximately 24 billion cubic feet of natural gas storage capacity in the initial phase of the project.
