Kirkland & Ellis advised private equity firm Olympus Partners and its portfolio company Rise Baking Company on the sale of Rise to investment firm Platinum Equity and private equity firm Butterfly. The transaction was announced September 17, 2024. Olympus bought Rise in 2018, and the company completed several significant acquisitions including Brill, Dawn Frozen Products division, Wonder Brands Pies and Table Talk Pies. Financial terms were not disclosed.
