
Kirkland & Ellis advised growth equity investment firm FTV Capital on the successful close of both FTV VIII, L.P., the firm’s latest flagship fund and FTV Ascend I, L.P., a new vehicle dedicated to smaller investments. Each fund oversubscribed with FTV VIII closing with total commitments of $3.4 billion and FTV Ascend I closing with total commitments of $651 million. The funds are both focused on control and minority equity investments in companies across the enterprise and financial technology landscape.
