Global law firm Hogan Lovells Cadwalader is expanding its energy and infrastructure finance practice: Doreen Pape has joined the team led by Dr. Carla Luh as counsel as of 1 November 2026. She joins from Noerr, where she also previously worked as counsel.
Doreen Pape specializes in domestic and international financing transactions. She advises financial institutions, investors and borrowers on complex financings across the energy and infrastructure sector.
With her arrival, Hogan Lovells Cadwalader is further expanding its advisory capabilities at the intersection of financing and complex transactions. Doreen Pape’s experience with sophisticated financing structures complements the existing transactional capabilities and further strengthens the team with another experienced lawyer, helping to meet growing client demand for advice on large-scale, complex and multi-jurisdictional matters.
Dr. Carla Luh, Head of Finance Germany, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Doreen Pape to our team. With her many years of experience in complex financing transactions, she is an excellent addition to our booming practice and, on a personal level, is also a very good fit for our team.”
Hogan Lovells Cadwalader’s infrastructure and energy practice in Germany currently comprises 10 partners and more than 50 other lawyers working across offices and disciplines. The team regularly advises on major financing matters in the energy and infrastructure sector, including, for example, the financing of Germany’s largest utility-scale battery storage facility and the financing of one of the largest decarbonization projects in the European steel industry.
