Hogan Lovells Cadwalader advises on the placement of a twelve-year Mortgage Pfandbrief issued by Deutsche Kreditbank AG in benchmark format with an issue volume of EUR 1 billion

Global law firm Hogan Lovells Cadwalader has advised a syndicate of banks consisting of Bayerische Landesbank (technical lead), Commerzbank Aktiengesellschaft, DZ BANK AG Deutsche Zentral-Genossenschaftsbank, Frankfurt am Main, Erste Group Bank AG, Société Générale, UniCredit Bank GmbH and Bethmann HAL, a brand of ABN AMRO Bank N.V. Frankfurt Branch (co-lead), on the placement of a twelve-year Mortgage Pfandbrief issued by Deutsche Kreditbank AG (DKB).

The Mortgage Pfandbrief was successfully placed on 9 July 2026 with an issue volume of EUR 1 billion. The Mortgage Pfandbrief, featuring a term of twelve years, has a coupon of 3.375 per cent p.a. and was issued at a price of 99.825 per cent. With the placement of this benchmark transaction, DKB is successfully continuing its issuance activities in the capital market. The issue met with very high demand, with the order book reaching a peak volume of more than EUR 1.5 billion.

This transaction is one of many transactions of DKB on which the Hogan Lovells Cadwalader team advised on the side of the banks. Previously, the team had advised DKB on its issuance programme.
