
London, 21 July 2026 – Global law firm Hogan Lovells Cadwalader has advised HSBC UK and HSBC Asset Management on the financing supporting Corten Capital and Ampersand Capital Partners’ acquisition of Beacon Intelligence from the Hanson Wade Group, backed by Graphite Capital.
Beacon Intelligence is a drug development intelligence platform providing data, analytics and workflow tools to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. The acquisition will support Beacon’s next phase of growth as an independent business, with Corten Capital becoming the majority owner and Ampersand investing as a minority co-investor.
The Hogan Lovells Cadwalader team was led by London Banking & Loan Finance partner Francis Booth with support from senior associate Alistair Handy, associate Ashali Herai and trainee solicitor Julie Levert-Cui.
