Hogan Lovells Cadwalader advises H.I.G. Capital on the acquisition of Rothschenk

Global law firm Hogan Lovells Cadwalader has advised CargoTuff LLC (CargoTuff), a portfolio Company of global investment firm H.I.G. Capital, on its acquisition of G+H GmbH Rothschenk (Rothschenk).

Rothschenk is a respected German manufacturer and distributor of load securement products headquartered in Aub, Bavaria. The acquisition combines established players in cargo securement, creating an organization with scale, engineering depth, and regional expertise to deliver differentiated service to customers across North America and Europe

H.I.G. Capital is a leading global alternative investment firm with $75 billion of capital under management. Since its founding in 1993, H.I.G. has invested in and managed more than 400 companies worldwide. The Firm’s current portfolio includes more than 100 companies with combined sales in excess of $53 billion.

Hogan Lovells Cadwalader provided comprehensive legal advice to CargoTuff and H.I.G. Capital on all legal aspects of the transaction. The team has many years of experience advising financial investors on domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, particularly in the private equity sector.

The team was led by partner Dr. Jan Philipp Feigen and counsel Dr. Malte Ingwersen, with senior associates Hannah Wohlfahrt and Isabel Stellmann and associate Dr. Sebastian Merkel supporting on corporate M&A and private equity matters. Counsel Dr. Falk Loose and senior associate Peter Volkmann handled all tax aspects of the transaction. Counsel Claudia Wolf and associate Christian Feldhaus supported on real estate matters. Counsel Prof. Dr. Fabian Pfuhl and senior associate Anne Schmitt provided guidance on data privacy. Counsel Dr. Justus Frank and senior associate Paul Single covered employment matters, while senior associate Dr. Thomas Frank focused on pensions.
