Hogan Lovells Cadwalader advises Finint Investments on Opificio Energia’s €15 million bond issuance

Global law firm Hogan Lovells Cadwalader has advised Finint Investments., acting in its capacity as management company, inter alia, of the investment fund denominated “Fondo PMI Italia III”, as arranger, dealer and investor, on a bond issuance by Opificio Energia S.r.l., for a total nominal amount of €15 million.

Opificio Energia S.r.l. is part of the Renco Group, a leading Italian international general contractor specialising in industrial engineering and project finance, with a particular focus on the oil & gas and energy sectors.

The transaction was structured as a private placement addressed to institutional investors. The bonds have a maturity of six and a half years, expiring in 2033, and provide for amortising repayment of principal in accordance with a scheduled repayment plan. The notes bear an increasing floating interest rate indexed to six-month Euribor, with semi-annual interest payments.

Finint Investments, in its capacity as management company of the investment fund Fondo PMI Italia III, acted as arranger, dealer, investor and noteholders’ representative, while Banca Finint served as paying agent, calculation agent and depositary bank. The bonds were subscribed by several institutional investors.
