Hogan Lovells Cadwalader advises DDSP on strategic financing for decarbonized data centre development across Asia Pacific

Singapore, 2 September 2026 – Global law firm Hogan Lovells Cadwalader has advised Digital Decarbonization Solutions Platform (“DDSP”) on a strategic financing led by IMM Investment Hong Kong, Woori Private Equity Asset Management and S-Energy Co., Ltd. The financing will support the continued development and construction of DDSP’s hyperscale, carbon-efficient data centre campuses and associated decarbonized energy infrastructure across Asia Pacific.

The investment was made through Korea’s Green Infrastructure Export Support Fund, a public-private investment initiative established by the Korea Ministry of Climate, Energy and Environment to support sustainable overseas infrastructure development. The financing provides DDSP with additional capital to advance its development pipeline of approximately 1.1GW of digital infrastructure capacity across North and Southeast Asia, reinforcing the company’s ability to deliver next-generation digital infrastructure for hyperscale cloud and AI customers.

DDSP is an Asia-Pacific developer of AI-ready digital and decarbonized energy infrastructure.  Headquartered in Singapore and Luxembourg, DDSP partners with hyperscale customers, institutional investors and infrastructure lenders to develop large-scale, carbon-efficient digital infrastructure platforms across the region, with projects spanning key Asia-Pacific markets including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Taiwan.

The Hogan Lovells Cadwalader team was led by Siew Kam Boon (Singapore Office Managing Partner and Head of Asia-Pacific Private Equity) and Timothy Goh (partner and Head of Asia-Pacific ESG), and supported by Private Equity lawyers, including Nicholas Wee (counsel) and Ashleigh Gan (associate). The financing aspects of the transaction were led by Eric Tan (partner), with support from Jennifer Lok (associate).

Siew Kam Boon, Singapore Office Managing Partner and Head of Asia-Pacific Private Equity, commented: “We are delighted to have supported DDSP on this strategic transaction. As AI and cloud adoption continue to drive demand for hyperscale capacity across Asia Pacific, investors are increasingly focused on data centre platforms that combine digital growth with decarbonization.”

Timothy Goh, Partner and Head of Asia-Pacific ESG, added: “As the Asia Pacific digital economy continues to grow, the transition towards more sustainable data centre infrastructure is becoming increasingly critical. This transaction highlights the important role of green data centres in supporting digital growth while advancing the region’s broader energy transition and sustainability goals. Hogan Lovells Cadwalader is well positioned to support sponsors, investors and developers as they navigate the evolving landscape of sustainable infrastructure investment.”
