Hogan Lovells Cadwalader advises Cherry Bank, Cassa Depositi e Prestiti and Mediocredito Centrale on Salerno Pesca’s €5 million bond issuance

Global law firm Hogan Lovells Cadwalader has advised Cherry Bank S.p.A., acting as arranger, dealer and investor and Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (CDP) and Mediocredito Centrale S.p.A., acting as investors, on the bond issuance by Salerno Pesca S.r.l., for a total nominal amount of €5 million.

Salerno Pesca S.r.l. is an Italian leading company active in the wholesale, retail and distribution of fresh, frozen and preserved fish products, as well as freshwater fish products.

The transaction was structured as a private placement addressed to professional investors. The bonds have a maturity of five years, expiring in 2031, and provide for amortising repayment of principal in accordance with a scheduled repayment plan. The notes bear a floating interest rate with semi-annual interest payments.

Cherry Bank S.p.A. acted as arranger, dealer and investor, and CDP and Mediocredito Centrale S.p.A. acted as investors. Banca Valsabbina S.C.p.A. acts as paying agent and calculation agent.
