
Washington, D.C. 29 September 2026 – Global law firm Hogan Lovells Cadwalader has advised Brixmor Property Group (NYSE: BRX) in its pending acquisition, alongside Everview Partners, of Slate Grocery REIT. The transaction is valued at US$2.34 billion.
The transaction and joint venture agreements state that Brixmor will effectively acquire a portfolio of 23 grocery-anchored shopping centers, while a newly formed institutional JV between Brixmor and affiliates of Everview will pay US$1.71 billion for the remaining 92 assets. The portfolio acquired by Brixmor is predominantly located within Brixmor’s footprint in the Southeast United States.
