Led by Dusseldorf partner Jens Uhlendorf, global law firm Hogan Lovells advised Volkswagen Financial Services AG (VWFS) on the sale of significant parts of its global financial services business relating to the MAN and Volkswagen Truck & Bus brands to TRATON Group and the conclusion of a related framework agreement between VWFS, Volkswagen Bank GmbH, TRATON SE and TRATON Financial Services AB.
Dr. Julian Fischer and his team also had a key role in the transaction, advising on regulatory and financing contract issues.

The integration of the business will take place gradually, country by country, with the aim of completing the transition to TRATON Financial Services AB by Q2 2025.
Hogan Lovells advised VWFS with a cross-office team on the structuring of the transaction as well as the drafting and negotiation of the framework agreement and various ancillary agreements.
