Led by Frankfurt partner Dr Christoph Naumann, global law firm Hogan Lovells has advised the founders of the KÖBERL Group, a leading provider of facility management and technology services, on its acquisition by Hungarian B+N Referencia Zrt., the leading facility management company in Central and Eastern Europe. As part of the takeover, the European investment company Gimv is transferring its majority stake in the KÖBERL Group to B+N. The transaction is expected to be completed in Q1 2025.
Gimv acquired a majority stake in the KÖBERL Group in March 2020. Together with the co-shareholders and managing directors Armin and Karl Köberl, who will remain on the management board and as shareholders in the company, Gimv pursued the expansion and strategic development of the company as well as its digitalisation.
Frankfurt partner Dr Christoph Naumann had already advised the founders of the KÖBERL Group in 2019/2020 on the acquisition of the majority stake by Gimv.
