New York, Washington, D.C. 31 October 2025 – Global law firm Hogan Lovells advised Prospector Baseball Group (“PBG”), a new platform building a modern, community-driven Minor League Baseball collective, on its launch and the acquisition of its first club – the Lancaster Stormers, an MLB Partner League team in the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball.
PBG is founded by veteran sports executive John Abbamondi and technology investor and entrepreneur Ben Boyer. PBG is building a next-generation, community-first Minor League Baseball platform that is grounded in operating expertise, long-term stewardship, and a commitment to empowering local leadership.
