Led by Matthias Hirschmann and Julian Tristram, global law firm Hogan Lovells has advised leading Hamburg-based energy company Mabanaft GmbH & Co. KG on the acquisition of 100% of the shares in WESTFA Energy GmbH, including all subsidiaries and shareholdings, from Adeleon Familienholding GmbH, formerly WESTFA Holding GmbH.
WESTFA Energy is one of the leading LPG suppliers in Germany and delivers LPG to private households, businesses and industry in the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and France. WESTA’s strong position in the liquefied natural gas market significantly complements Mabanaft’s existing business. The acquisition strengthens the company’s strategic goals of expanding its product portfolio and meeting the growing needs of its customers.
