Hogan Lovells advises ING on its innovative Green Lion RMBS transaction

Amsterdam – Structured Finance and ESG teams in Amsterdam and London have advised ING on its innovative Green Lion 2023-1 Green RMBS (€850 million) funding transaction.

This transaction marks ING’s first step into the green securitisation market, diversifies its funding mix and offers sustainable investment opportunities to investors. Green Lion is a Dutch residential mortgage-backed securitisation (RMBS) backed by owner-occupied loans on energy-efficient buildings.
