Led by Frankfurt partner Dr Torsten Rosenboom, global law firm Hogan Lovells has advised the co-shareholder of H. Anger’s Söhne Bohr- und Brunnenbaugesellschaft mbH, Uwe Schindler, on the future cooperation with Herrenknecht AG following its acquisition of a majority stake of 66.7% in the company.
H. Anger’s Söhne Bohr- und Brunnenbaugesellschaft mbH, located in Hessisch Lichtenau, is one of the leading medium-sized companies in the German drilling industry. The company’s portfolio includes services and processes for the drilling of natural resources, water and energy exploration and development up to depths of 7,000 meters. With Herrenknecht AG’s acquisition of a majority shareholding retroactive to 1 January 2023, Uwe Schindler has found a strong partner to further strengthen the global technology company’s portfolio in the field of drilling services. The partners can now use the synergy effects to develop technologies from German production to master the heat transition.
