Hogan Lovells advises Citi on a €120m asset-backed facility for ClubFunding

Hogan Lovells has advised Citi as the senior lender on a forward flow securitisation for French crowdfunding platform, ClubFunding.

The deal provides ClubFunding, a Fintech offering bridge property financing to French real estate SMEs, a new securitised facility of €120 million which will allow it to continue to offer and underwrite loans following its expansion in recent years and to accelerate growth. This transaction also involved FPS First, a professional specialised fund (fonds professionnel spécialisé) managed by ClubFunding Asset Management, acting as mezzanine funder.

The Hogan Lovells team was led by structured finance and securitisation partners Julian Craughan in London and Laura Asbati in Paris.
