Led by Frankfurt partner Dr. Jochen Seitz, international law firm Hogan Lovells advised a banking syndicate consisting of Commerzbank Aktiengesellschaft, DekaBank Deutsche Girozentrale (Lead Manager), Landesbank Baden-Württemberg and Norddeutsche Landesbank – Girozentrale – on the placement of a Mortgage Pfandbrief of BSK 1818 AG (formerly operating as Landesbank Berlin AG) with an issue volume of EUR 300 million.
BSK 1818 AG is the owner of Berliner Sparkasse and is considered as a separate savings bank association in accordance with the Berlin Savings Banks Act. BSK 1818 AG is a regular issuer of Mortgage Pfandbriefe, Public Pfandbriefe, unsecured and subordinated bonds.
The Hogan Lovells team regularly advises the banks with regard to transactions of BSK 1818 AG. This is the first issue of BSK 1818 AG after its name change on 15 July 2025.
